His struggles are his own doing, there are times in the game where he chooses to keep hold of the ball when passing is the best option. He needs to learn you create space for yourself when you release the ball. Gazza was a master off it.

The whole team has no pausa. There is 0 confidence from anyone that we can hold on to possession for more than 20 seconds and so we just keep bombing the ball forward as quickly as possible.

Good analysis. The set up - or at east the lack of willing runners around him left Xavi very isolated - even the opportunity to play that quick pass. Arsenal often had three players on him - they knew anything dangerous would go through him. So little support here.

When Odobert got injured l knew we were done because he was the only pace and dribbling left, if you are not playing well as a team the only way to get goals is through counter attacks of which at the moment we are stuck and l dont see where we're going to get any goals this season . Xavi needs to play further back in centre mid in a 343 Xavi needs to play as a 6. That way we get better controlled possession and when he does break the lines he will have at least 3 attackers in front of him. The right manager can turn this guy in to a Modric replacement

For the xavi fanboys, what do actually know he can do right? He can’t drive, can take long shots, can’t pick a pass in between lines or at distant, has a very very poor iq, and can’t even dribble.. he’s our worst 10 ever…and we use to play Kulu as a 10
