😓 Air India 🇮🇳 Flight AI171 with fully loaded Boeing 787-7 Dreamliner fatal accident: I‘m an airline pilot with >15‘000h of experience and a physics institute: My brief PRELIMINARY analysis of the visible facts from the video of the takeoff: * The flaps are only slightly extended, presumably to position 1 instead of 5. * The landing gear is still extended, which should have been retracted at this altitude and causes additional drag. * The aircraft is at a high angle of attack, which confirms the insufficient flap setting. * From the video and witness accounts, only low engine noise is audible. * Neither smoke nor fire is visible. * An engine failure is less likely. The most probable cause is presumably a human factor, an incorrectly chosen, insufficient flap setting for takeoff, and consequently an inadequately selected thrust. In this context, the correlated speeds were too low because they were calculated for a larger flap setting or a lighter aircraft. As a result, the aircraft took off with insufficient speed and intentionally but falsely derated thrust, was therefore on the unstable side, and rapidly lost more speed and altitude due to the additional failure to retract the landing gear in a timely manner, leading to a subsequent stall at low altitude and crash. For the experts: the aircraft got onto the wrong side of the speed vs drag curve and maneuvered itself into a corner from where there is no escape. Another possible cause could also have been an incorrect input of a wrong takeoff weight into the Flight Management System, resulting in too low thrust and too low speeds. The pilots got startled after takeoff, couldn’t wrap their head around what went wrong and incorrectly prioritized making an emergency call instead of flying the aircraft first, manually increasing thrust immediately to maximum, and retracting the landing gear. In summary of this very early and preliminary assessment (your confidence level should be as low as mine): The most probable cause is human error 😓 - as most of the time these days. Not because the pilots got worse (although that effect can be observed as well with prioritization of diversity over competence) - but because technology got so much better.

NEW ALL IN: $PALU @ 33.60 This is the 2X Palo Alto Networks $PANW ETF. I entered roughly when $PANW was at $270. The thesis is simple: they have earnings on Tue 6/2 and could pull a SNOW or DELL like move. (Breaking my rule here on leverage. The implied move on earnings is +/- 8% so a 2X leveraged ETF makes this +/- 16%. I think that is still survivable if I'm wrong) - Anthropic Mythos is causing havoc finding 10K+ security exploits and that is legitimately scaring EVERYONE - Palo Alto Networks is one of the main security partners helping Anthropic find and fix things before its release. They are publishing so many blog posts and deep dives and really establishing themselves as the main name for this new era of AI cybersecurity - Project Glasswing started on April 7 so while the price is already up 69% since then, I think (just like every other crazy earnings) they will somehow surprise us even more - Hedge fund 🐐 Gavin Baker started a new $90M position along with dozens of hedge funds increasing positions in Q1 2026 - CEO is so badass he bottom-ticked his own stock on March 27 for $10M. Robinhood has this labelled wrong (it shows only 100 shares bought on open market but I checked the actual SEC filing and confirmed he did buy the whole $10M on open market) - Board also authorized an extra $1B stock buyback program on March 10 which is always nice to see Earnings have been massive re-rating events for software names these past few days. If you read my late night free alpha post you might've got a wiff of where my spidey senses are at. 1. Cybersecurity underloved ✅ 2. Software rotation ✅ 3. Insider buy ✅ TLDR: Market is rotating back into software and rewarding high quality category leaders. Note: $ZS and $S had bad earnings and tanked but are incomparable in quality and market cap to $PANW. Plus $PANW has had time to learn how to structure their earnings calls. They're also beating $CRWD to the punch with their earnings a day earlier. I literally stumbled upon this ticker last night and learned they have earnings on Tue. Hence the late night alert and urgent trade. You have to turn the bell on if you're following me. Subscribing gets you my first thoughts and drafts. Sold $HLIT @ 16.32 right when I woke up for an 8% gain. The U.S. wants Europe to take responsibility for its own defense and rely less on American military power. 3️⃣ Economic Power = National Security The strategy says America must rebuild its economy to stay secure by restoring manufacturing, protecting supply chains from China, expanding energy production, and strengthening key industries and technology. 4️⃣ Less Dependence on Global Institutions Instead of spreading democracy everywhere, the U.S. will rely more on direct country-to-country deals and act only when its own interests are at stake. 5️⃣Re-establish Control of the Western Hemisphere (PRETTY IMPORTANT KEEP THIS IN MIND) The U.S. plans to strengthen influence over North, Central, and South America — focusing on immigration control, stopping drug trafficking, and preventing rival nations from gaining power in the region. 6️⃣Pulling Back Overseas (PRETTY IMPORTANT KEEP THIS IN MIND) The U.S. is stepping away from being the “world’s police.” It will reduce military commitments abroad and focus mainly on threats that directly affect American interests. 7️⃣Prophetically Significant: Stepping Back from the Middle East (MAJOR WOW!!!) This is the major prophetic shift. The Middle East is no longer America’s top priority. The U.S. is redirecting its focus to the Western Hemisphere, economic competition, rebuilding industry, and securing strategic resources. 💡This strategic step-back allows the prophetic alignments of Ezekiel 38, Daniel 2, 7, 11, and end-times alliances to rise exactly as Scripture forewarned — with the U.S. no longer at the center of the story. WHY THE U.S. STEPPING BACK FROM THE MIDDLE EAST IS SO PROPHETICALLY CRITICAL? 👉🏼We all know that end-times prophecy is centered on Israel, the Middle East, and the coalitions of nations that come against her. America is not part of that picture. 💡For almost 75 years, the only thing preventing those prophetic alliances from forming has been U.S. military power and political influence in the region. 👉🏼So when the official White House document National Security Strategy 2025 states that the U.S. is no longer prioritizing the Middle East, it becomes prophetically MASSIVE — because it removes the one barrier that has kept Ezekiel’s prophecy from unfolding. 1️⃣Ezekiel 38–39 Requires a Weak or Absent America. Ezekiel describes a coalition led by Gog (understood as Russia), with Iran, Turkey, and several nations forming a military alliance against Israel. And in the entire prophecy, notice what’s missing: 👉🏼No United States. 👉🏼 No Western superpower defending Israel. For decades: 👉🏼the U.S. military presence deterred Russia and Iran. 👉🏼American sanctions crippled Iran’s expansion. 👉🏼U.S. bases surrounded hostile nations. 👉🏼America acted as Israel’s diplomatic shield. 📈For Gog’s coalition to rise exactly as Scripture describes, the United States must step back — politically, militarily, and strategically and the NSS 2025 is the clearest step in that direction. BUT THE BIG QUESTION IS: "HOW CAN ISRAEL BE LIVING ‘SECURELY’ IF AMERICA PULLS AWAY?” Ezekiel 38 says Israel will be: 👉🏼“living securely” 👉🏼“at rest” 👉🏼“in unwalled villages” 👉🏼confident and unthreatened We often assumed this security came from America — but that is NOT what the Hebrew text means. Israel’s “security” in Ezekiel 38 is not true safety; it is false confidence. The Hebrew word used for “securely” is batach (בֶּטַח), which means: 👉🏼to feel safe 👉🏼to be confident 👉🏼to be at ease 👉🏼even if danger is actually present It does not describe: ❌peace from God ❌protection from an ally ❌or a world guaranteed safe It describes self-confidence, this matches Israel today exactly: ✅They trust their own military strength. ✅Their defense systems (Iron Dome, Arrow-3, David’s Sling) are among the strongest in the world. ✅Their economy is booming. ✅Their intelligence agencies are unmatched. ✅Their normalization with Arab states (Abraham Accords) creates a sense of regional stability. ✅They publicly stated this year that they are ready to act even without U.S. help. 💪🏼In other words, Israel feels secure because Israel believes it is strong. Not because the U.S. protects them. Not because enemies disappeared. But because they think they can handle anything. That is precisely the kind of confidence Ezekiel describes. With America stepping back, Israel must: 👉🏼depend on its own strength 👉🏼expand its own military capabilities 👉🏼form regional alliances 👉🏼appear strong, independent, and untouchable This creates the exact scenario Ezekiel saw: 📖“I will go up against a land of unwalled villages… whose people dwell securely…” Ezekiel 👉🏼A nation living confidently, not because someone protects them, but because they believe they don’t need protection. The U.S. withdrawal creates the exact prophetic vacuum needed for Gog/Magog. If the U.S. stayed heavily involved, Ezekiel 38 could not unfold. But when the U.S. steps back: ✅Russia sees an opening ✅Iran feels emboldened ✅Turkey realigns ✅Arab nations shift ✅Israel appears isolated 💣Gog attacks a nation that seems confident and prosperous — but with no superpower covering them, no America involved. This is precisely the scenario required for God to intervene supernaturally. 2️⃣DANIEL 2 & 7: HOW THE U.S. PULLING BACK SETS THE STAGE FOR DANIEL’S TEN-REGION STRUCTURE 📖“ Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.” Daniel 2:41–43 🦶🏼When Daniel saw the final world empire, he described it as feet and ten toes made of iron and clay. This wasn’t a single united superpower — it was a fractured, divided, multi-regional structure: 👉🏼partly strong (iron) 👉🏼partly weak (clay) 👉🏼not fully unified 👉🏼ten-part configuration (ten “toes” matching the ten “horns” in Daniel 7 and Revelation 17) 💡To get to that kind of global system, the world must move away from what we’ve had since WWII. From one dominant global superpower (the U.S.) to a fractured, multipolar world of regions, coalitions, and blocs. And this is exactly where America’s pull-back becomes prophetically massive. For the last 80 years, the United States has acted as: 👉🏼the world’s stabilizer, 👉🏼the enforcer of the “old world order,” 👉🏼the deterrent that kept regional powers in check, 👉🏼the protector that prevented many conflicts — especially in the Middle East. But Daniel’s final empire is NOT a stable, unified, U.S.-dominated world. It is: 👉🏼divided 👉🏼global but fractured 👉🏼made of multiple powers 👉🏼iron + clay — strong parts mixed with weak parts 👉🏼ten centers of authority (ten regions / ten horns/ ten kings who will rule before the Antichrist rises.) 💡For that system to arise, the current one has to collapse or step aside. I'm starting with SEO & marketing, then fleshing out the product afterwards. It's been a busy morning already thanks to Ahrefs. From the learnings of grandmaster sensei — I will be using my other projects for backlinks & focus on SEO instead of adding as an afterthought. The plan: ------------------------- [hacks explained further down] 1. keyword research 2. more keyword research [HACK #1] 3. content plan 4. choose topics, subtopics & post outline using long-tail keywords found in 1. & 2. [HACK #2] 5. landing page, blog & initial marketing 6. barebone MVP 7. blog with content hubs [HACK #3] 8. initial backlinks [HACK #4] 9. marketing & launch 10. talk to users & iterate while SEO is slowly cooking in the background (hopefully by the time the product matures SEO is booming) ... 🔁 continue to fill in posts according to the content plan. then back to 1 & 2. more long-tail posts & create free tools to improve ranking + increase no. of backlinks. Hack #1 --------- Explore keywords for "result intent" SEO. Figure out guides & tutorials for keywords with DR long tail ones. Create structure for internal links, e.g.: /generic-topic-keyword (links to all posts) ➡️/more-specific-subtopic-keyword (links to child posts) ➡️➡️/very-specific-post-1 ➡️➡️/very-specific-post-2 etc. Hack #3 --------- Create hubs for generic keywords with links to subtopics and long-tail posts. The hubs themselves should be somewhat informative but mostly an overview. => My crazy idea: before I have the content, add external links to authoritative sources for each specific post. I'll slowly write my own content to replace those and move the links inside the post. Hack #4 --------- Use my other projects to write posts on the new product and link to it to get a decent domain ranking fast. Launch on PH with a beta, mostly for the good backlink. Authority shared before it is centralized. 📕Revelation 17 calls this phase ten kings — leaders or regions who receive authority “for a short time” and rule together BEFORE the rise of the final ruler, THE ANTICHRIST! 💡The key point is this: The ten kings appear before the Antichrist is fully revealed. What Actually is Sei Network's “Giga” Upgrade? Sei Network’s (Sei) Giga upgrade is a major overhaul designed to make the network faster, more scalable and better suited for high-performance onchain trading. Put simply, Giga is rebuilding three critical parts of the blockchain: consensus, execution and storage. (1) The first track focuses on consensus, with upgrades such as Autobahn designed to improve how Sei validators agree on the state of the chain. (2) The Ares upgrade targets execution, the part of the blockchain responsible for actually processing transactions. (3) Eidos focuses on storage, which is becoming increasingly important as blockchain throughput rises. Why does storage matter? Every transaction a blockchain processes has to be recorded. This is my "feel the AGI" moment: I used GPT-5.6 Sol to train my own autocorrect model that outperforms GPT-5.6 Sol (wtf??) I have no ML background. I have no idea what I'm doing. I just kept pushing Sol until it spat out a SOTA model. And I spent $0. The motivation: Years of talking to AI have made me terrible at typing. Rather than fix my skill issue, I decided to throw more AI at it. My idea was: instead of autocorrect that interrupts my flow, I want to type fast with mistakes and have AI clean it up after. I wanted the smallest local model possible, for speed, for battery life, for science! So I decided to train my own. Inspired by Andrej Karpathy’s autoresearch, I ran Codex /goal with this setup: pick an experiment, try it, record the results to a doc, throw it out if it fails, and plan the next experiment without repeating failures. I gave a few examples that had to pass, tight latency targets, and let it run. Sol did some amazing things. First, it scanned benchmarks and shortlisted base models: Qwen 3.5, Gemma 4, Liquid LFM 2.5. It found a dataset on HuggingFace for typed text. Then it built a simulator for fingers striking a Mac keyboard, modeling the physical layout with a Gaussian distribution around each key. It simulated striking the wrong key, wrong order, fat-fingering, etc. With the models + data + simulator, it fine-tuned using MLX right on my MacBook. It had a working prototype within an hour! But accuracy was pretty poor. — Problem 1: Tokenization Sol read papers, ran tests, and identified that the tokenizer was the bottleneck. Tokenization makes typos hard for the model to see, so it memorizes mappings instead of using its language priors. Sol tried ByT5, Google’s tokenizer-free byte-level LLM. This made a big improvement, but the model is old and lacked the knowledge needed to reach Sol performance. Sol dug deeper and realized a tokenizer-free model isn’t needed; instead, it used T5Gemma, an encoder-decoder model. This can understand the input deeply before producing output, and furthermore, Sol could post-train the encoder to improve performance. This gave a much higher ceiling. — Problem 2: Loss function Now the model was correcting some typos perfectly, but ignoring most. Sol realized that standard cross-entropy loss was teaching the model to avoid edits, because the vast majority of characters in the training data were left unmodified. The fix was wild: Sol wrote a custom loss function that byte-aligns the source and target strings, uses a dynamic programming algorithm to compute the minimum edits between the two, then weights correct edits much higher than copies. After a lot of tuning, this dramatically improved accuracy. — Problem 3: Autoregression One failure mode remained: if the model made a mistake, it couldn’t backtrack. It could only predict the next token. Teaching it to “think” like a reasoning model would solve this, but would be far too slow. Sol found a beautiful solution: instead of greedily predicting the next token, beam search over all possibilities. This parallelizes the exploration instead of one linear chain-of-thought. At the end, choose the path with highest cumulative log probability. This worked great, but made the experience worse, since the user wouldn’t see progress until the whole search was done. To fix this, Sol made a clever observation: after each search step, the longest common prefix among surviving branches is guaranteed to appear in the final result, so it can be displayed immediately. As the search progresses, weaker paths are dropped and the prefix grows, so the user sees continuous progress. Sol built all this as a custom MLX pipeline that does the parallel decoding on the MacBook GPU, with just ~40ms TTFT. It’s crazy fast and entirely local. — Final eval (error reduction rate, higher is better): - Apple autocorrect: 49.66% - GPT-5.6 Luna: 82.47% - GPT-5.6 Terra: 87.64% - GPT-5.6 Sol: 90.56% - Our model (1.7B): 91.02% Final cost: - 1 quota reset (thanks Tibo) - $0 (And yes, I verified there's no cheating. In fact, we test words scrubbed from the training data to prove the model isn’t memorizing) There were a ton more details and tangents I could write about: contrastive learning, GRPO, DPO, dynamic masking, and more.
