🟢 Xbox backwards compatibility over 4 generations is just flat out embarrassing for PlayStation

XBOX made backwards compatibility even better.

Not only that most of PlayStation backwards compatible games are restricted to a Premium PS Plus subscription. And most of the good backwards compatible games are only playable with a Japanese account.

Because PlayStation never intended to actually invest in game preservation or backwards compatibility, even though they COULD HAVE at any point previously. Hell, even the PS2 and PS3 (to a certain point) were backwards compatible. Sony just doesn’t care. Period.

as a former xbox fanboy i learned to realize that sony will always copy whatever xbox does. you will see that sony cancels the digital only games plans. you will also see how backwards compatible games will start to pop up on the playstation store.

They have a huge problem in trying to do it with PS1,2,3 games though unless they really look at emulation The discs just won’t work no matter what

the ps5 only has 2 generations compared to 4 on xbox. it can’t even emulate/natively play ps3 games, or even ps2/ps1 games.

Well i am not a fan of that Asha, but shes doing a way better job than Bond, and is actually more into Preservation of games than sony ever was, while Sony is killing the PS3 store, microsoft gives us a way to keep our disks, and digitalize them, i tried it today , worked with 24 Games 👍

There are more PS1 games on PS4/PS5 store then there are xbox original games on the xbone/series s. PS2 games. PS3 games even playable on Plus Premium when FH 1 to 4 isn't even on game pass ultimate. The fuck is your Slimy Phil cum addled brain babbling on about now?

Technically there is ps1-3 games BUT I have to rebuy them or stream only in a lot of cases. Xbox lets me take my 22 year old ninja gaiden and play it in 4k. It’s crazy better
