Didn't know it was anti-consumer to not want to take a 145% increase when importing your product... The game prices are a different story but what do you honestly expect these companies to do?

What do you mean beginning of the end? The console has been on the back foot for almost 2 full generations now. Microsoft has long stopped caring about the consoles unit sales. Not sure that survives in the next gen.

What do you expect them to do. how the hell is it anti-consumer ???? Increasing the game prices that’s a different story PlayStation has $80 games Xbox is the last one to do it ? I’m sorry that every company is gonna be doing this and not just Xbox. PlayStation is gonna raise their prices eventually to the rest of the countries including the US only did a select few two weeks ago. Nintendo we’re going to increase their prices but they hold off But they will eventually. if you’re consoles are getting made in China the prices are gonna go up doesn’t matter what platform 🙄🙄🤦♂️

I can definitely see Xbox taking that Sega route real soon.

Beginning to the end???

Do people not understand why they are having to do this? Specifically for the console increase, the game increase is something different entirely

XBOX console is already dead as it is today. If they stick with the rumored PC-like approach for next console, that will save them and save the consumers as well, since steam has better prices and discounts...

$500 or $600, they know the consoles aren't going to sell either way; they've made sure of that with the 'Everything is an Xbox' campaign and prostituting their exclusives to their direct competitor. These price hikes just serve to desensitize consumers to an $850 next-gen Xbox which would seem like a 'natural' price progression after a $730 2TB Series X.

xbox is dead again…
