Xbox ‘s Gears Of War E-Day Is doing what Multiplayer Modes should do. You get a Campaign, Co-Op Horde Mode and MP. Where there’s No Battle Passes, No P2W. This is how it used to be, and how it should be, great the Coalition is leading by example

This made it a day one for me. The last Gears I was this hyped for was Gears 3. They really impressed me with this one.

Exactly sure the game will had paid items but those were cosmetics for Premium Editions bonuses , charity support and collab content like Metalica because I doubt that The Coalition is pulling another Gears 5 situation on launch

I've never been into Gears of War before but its great that E-Day is doing away with the P2W trend and is having us unlock things by playing, just like how it used to be with games. 👍✨✨ More AAA titles needs to follow this and make their games this way.

I hope we can be rid of microtransactions, but studios see how much money they can make from them and how successful Fortnite is with all its collabs with streamers, celebrities, YouTubers, etc. Then Activision followed suit in Call of Duty, but the new Gears MP has me so hyped.

The no p2w part is kinda dumb because either way these types of games never have something p2w. And regarding no battle pass it will be seen if they can capture the attention of player long term without battle pass. If not, a battle pass like halo infinite would've been good.
