I think most Xbox gamers if they’re being honest regret ABK. Be careful what you cheer for and what you support. Same for their corporate mouthpieces that said it would be good for competition and whatever else. lol

I've been saying this for years... The shareholders care about AI not gaming this isn't some revelation.
MS already knew they couldn’t catch up or win the market against Sony/Nintendo so they started purchasing the largest studios with the most popular titles so they could pivet to 3rd party publishing. Decision made years ago.
In Xbox’s defense, 3rd party or not, they have an incredibly strong catalogue of IPs in their arsenal due to ABK & BGS. Quality notwithstanding, they should be able to make it work as a 3rd party publisher long term. I don’t see any more large scale acquisitions for Xbox though.
No one told @Rand_al_Thor_19 to invest in Xbox. Because out of all the companies within gaming to invest in, Microsoft is known for cutting their losses and abandoning projects. They’re a trillion dollar company and they don’t need Xbox. Sorry.
