XDefiant had 1+ million players in their closed beta, and will return for open beta this month, the game is officially expected as soon as this summer... Can it take on Call of Duty?

With Activision cease and desisting 3rd party providers of old CoD titles, mixed with the Nickmercs, TImthetatman and Dr Disrespect controversy, not to mention CDL might move from Twitch to YouTube Not sure how this wild storm will impact the future of Call of Duty

If the game has the movement that MW2 took away and fans want + good anti-cheat then it can compete with COD 😂 The bar appears extremely low for XDefiant to win.

It'll also be a dead game in 12-24 months. No it won't ever compete with COD franchise, Battlefield has been around 20 years and still doesn't hold a breath to COD in player count or sales, and never will. So no, Xdefiant is going to be just another FPS that comes and goes.
