#WHA79 delegates met this week against a backdrop of outbreaks, conflict, division, uncertainty and constrained resources. That is exactly the point of multilateralism: not to pretend the difficulties of our world are not there, but to address them together. That is not automatic. It is a choice. A choice to prioritise health. A choice to recognise that no country can address today’s health challenges alone. A choice to work through World Health Organization (WHO), not only as an institution, but as a shared platform for shared action. I thank you for that choice.

Our efforts will be strengthened by working together. As President Sheinbaum said at the G7 summit — and I quote — “In an interdependent world, no country can isolate itself.” And as one of your predecessors counseled: among individuals, as among nations, respect for the rights of others is peace. Bianca didn't have to bring Dustin. She could've attended the Star Magical Prom alone, and no one would've questioned it. Bringing him was never a requirement. In fact, he wasn't even expected to be there. But instead, they turned a once-in-a-lifetime event into a memory they got to share together. 🤍 History was made. No matter what happens from here, one thing will always remain true.. Dustin will forever be the first Sparkle artist to attend the Star Magical Prom. As for what comes next...
