Holidays have been hard for me ever since my cousin was killed. That loss changed my family forever. Then I lost my mother, then my sister, and over time the circle grew smaller as people drifted apart. Eventually, I found myself standing mostly on my own. But I still feel lucky. Because even without immediate family, I have family everywhere. People around the world who love me, support me, and wish me well. So while I may not have anyone to exchange gifts with, I have the gift of doing what I love, the gift of your support, the gift of my voice, and the gift of life. I have a place to live, and I’m grateful for every person who’s part of my journey. You may not be blood, but you are family. If you’re blessed to still have your loved ones here, be present. Spend the time. Talk, listen, hug, and love deeply. Time is not promised. Thank you for being here.

oh my sweet love, i wish i could hug you for all the moments you cried alone:( 🦌 i don't get much time to go home,and one time i had to go to work early the next day,so i stopped by to see my parents and brother, then headed straight back to the dorm. 🦌 suddenly, i started crying. i think it made me sad that i couldn't easily see my family, even though they were so close. i just wanted to go home, so i cried for a long time, eventually i pulled myself together, so i wrote this song thinking that i wanted to return home after achieving something great 👤 that's such a beautiful thing, im sure your parents loves you and are so proud of you my precious heeseung:( your family loves you so much and theyre proud of you, you're their little baby, you're so pure hearted and precious! the best son and brother who gifted your family a beautiful song ❤️‍🩹
