@RIPPLE_KING001 @Ripple A rebrand of the core software isn’t flashy but it matters for institutional adoption. XRPLD sounds cleaner for enterprise contracts. Node operators will need to stay on top of the upgrade. Mature networks go through changes like this.

The $XRP Ledger almost just went offline… #XRPL Nodes Face Critical Upgrade Deadline Tuesday #XRP Ledger validators must upgrade by May 27 or risk going offline. David Schwartz confirmed the rippled 3.1.3 amendment will activate Tuesday, and nodes that fail to update will become amendment-blocked meaning they’ll lose the ability to validate the ledger, process transactions, or vote on future network changes. Schwartz also noted that the XRPL experiences more technically hard-fork-style events than most public blockchains.

New XRP Ledger Software Update 2.5.0 is out! This is how the new update will push the XRP Ledger forward ✅ - Long awaited new amendments: 🔹Batch transactions. 🔹Token escrow (RLUSD, memes, treasuries etc). 🔹Premissioned DEX (P-Domain is in voting) so that institutions can USE the XRPL in a compliant way. 🔹P-Delegation to delegate account permissions more granular. Non amendments and new release schedule👀: In addition, a lot of helpful fixes and improvements to make the XRPL software run better, more efficient and stable than before.

#Ripple $XRP XRP is the quote currency of the XRP ledger. This is made possible by the auto bridge feature. The XRP ledger itself seeks XRP liquidity first before it chooses the path finding method . Each transaction cost XRP for gas. This means the more tokenized assets on the chain and the higher amounts of volume equals more fees and revenue generated by the Blockchain . So the liquidity pools quoted to XRP are favored by the Blockchain. This is the core demand to invest in XRP.

Ripple will replace SWIFT and trillions of dollars will flow through the XRP Ledger… Ripple has already secured banks outside the U.S. bypassing SWIFT for cross-border payments. JP Morgan connected the XRP Ledger to U.S. Interbank Settlement for a reason. 34 out of 50 banks partnered with SWIFT for digital payments have already used the XRP Ledger. SBI Japan CEO has already said that every bank in Japan will use XRP and it will become very expensive. There is no doubt XRP will reprice once the institutions get the greenlight to migrate to DLT.

Pay attention to this at XRP Seoul 🇰🇷! 👀 Monica Long on Ripple's 2027 direction is to bring customer transactions across the company on the XRP Ledger. Payments and Credit is a big unlock with XLS-66 Lending Protocol, how? Short term credit using liquidity pools with XRP as collateral to fund payments. This leverages everything we have been building on the XRP Ledger to facilitate this use case. Payments and Credit, what a duo!

For & writer Katherine Ross. Ripple's James Wallace, VP of CB Engagements and CBDCs, 3 days ago. This space needs more solid research over misleading headlines. On a technical level, most likely for the foreseable future there will be an intermediary in the middle. Nuetral assets like crypto could exchange between CBDCs for conversion. As Ripple CTO said today, "The CBDC Platform reaffirms the significance of the XRP Ledger as it’s built with the same core ledger technology. It has the ability to interact with #XRPL and use XRP as a bridge currency for cross-currency and cross-border payments."

BOOM! 🚨 $XRP is building the rails for trillions. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse just said at Davos 2026 that the company has been working with banks worldwide to bridge tokenization and DeFi through the XRP Ledger. Tokenized volume grew from 19T to 33T in just one year. Most people still have no idea how big this will get. This is the shift. The rails are being laid. And $XRP Ledger is one of the few ready to handle it. When the money moves, it won’t care about your favorite altcoin. It’ll go where the infrastructure is. This is bullish for $XRP.

Core Lightning developers are telling node operators to go offline after AI uncovered critical flaws "Core Lightning team sounds the alarm as AI uncovers critical flaws. To be clear, there has been no exploit. This is saying there are flaws that could be exploited." "This is Lightning, the very popular L2 on Bitcoin that's existed forever, that many systems are built on, that allows you to send Bitcoin and other things cheap and almost instantaneously." "The core developers have sounded the alarm and basically said stop running your nodes. There's an emergency update that will be coming available." "Telling node operators to take their Lightning nodes offline is a pretty big deal. This isn't Ravencoin or Harmony chain, this is Bitcoin Lightning."
