School ball is coming to a close, and you start to realize that some of these seniors I’ve played baseball with or against since I was 4 years old. Some of these guys I’ve played T ball with. And in just a few weeks…. It will be over. I won’t see them in the hall next year, I won’t see them in class, they won’t be in the clubhouse next year, they won’t be suited up to play in practice or games. They will be gone. Gone on to bigger and better things- off to different colleges around the country. Some will be playing college ball others will just be starting their next chapter somewhere else. In the end…. It’s been a great ride- proud to be your teammate and friend. Don’t take one moment for granted and on to the next chapter. Love this game. I will never ever ask what’s wrong of offer help if I wasn’t actually going to help. I see accidents on the highway almost daily, especially in the winter, if I am going to stop I always call the police first so I know help is on the way for them and for me if things go south. A woman was in an accident and she’s going car to car begging for help. She thought these people were going to help her and jumped in there. At only for them to boot her out. What would you do though, would you let her in the car? To me it could be a setup or they could have serious injuries would t want anything to happen. I wouldn’t let them in the car. People will criticize because they aren’t in this position or it hasn’t happened to them. I say unless I am equipped to help, I won’t. But I will always call for help. I feel that’s the best thing we can do in most of these cases and if anyone else has anything to say about it they don’t know what they are talking about.
