I was sitting in the stands at game 4 of the 2004 World Series when the rookie catcher confronted veteran All Star Manny Ramirez at the plate. I turned to my boys and said “this guy is the real deal!” #stlcards.

My favorite Yadi moment was when a rookie baserunner wagged his finger at Yadi after a pickoff attempt. Yadi then motioned for the rookie to try to steal second. He tried and Yadi gunned him down.

Yadi was a CHAMPION by any measure!

The umps always holding Yadi Back, never the other dude lol. They knew who was about it.
