I learned this ten years ago (2015) from of ALL PLACES, my iPod Classic, which I had not synched to iTunes in a couple of years. I had a song from a popular artist. Just this one song from her. And when I synched my iPod to add more songs, this song CHANGED. It was almost identical to the original, except that her notes in the chorus were distinctively different. It was clear that she’d done some “remastered version” in the years between my iPod synchs, and iTunes wanted to be sure I got the Remaster to replace the version I’d already paid money for. Without my consent. An all-streaming society means they will be able to execute Mandela-effect rewrites of history, at will, at some point in the near future. This may play into the “strong delusion” that comes upon the whole world in the end times, referenced in one of Paul’s epistles to the Thessalonians.

We feed this machine a long time ago when the majority decided that our creativity and art has no value. We devalued paying for the physical product and accepted streaming all because of the convenience. So now we are here & it’s not going anywhere.
