Reminds me of a line from a book: “In another world, I do not exist, but my mother gets to live, not just survive.” 🥺😭 our parents sacrificed everything to give us a better life.

She won her Oscar in 1991. She carried that guilt around for 33 years.

The amount of empathy you have to have to see through your mother’s bitterness towards you and realize it not your fault but in fact her own regrets/anger that she’s carried for decades😩

I know that had to be a HUGE relief 🥲
