Okay okay Thought it looked a bit throw back-ish. What’d the d-man do to get such special attention? 😆

Backstory The 2 players involved in the original interaction were Kirk Forrest (Halifax white) and Josh Mckinnon (Summerside blue) Forrest had been suspended prior to this and it was his first game played in a while (possibly all season). In a previous game Josh had hit a Halifax player that Halifax didnt like. Leading up to this, Forrest had been threatening Josh publicly and in the media. This was Forrest’s first shift of the game and Josh had told him prior he wasn’t going to fight. That lead to this. Aftermath: 14 players/staff were suspended. Forrest was suspended and never played another game in the league. The Summerside trainer was suspended for a year. Halifax was fined after attempting to buy and destroy the video from the game. Josh McKinnon was actually pretty tough in his own right; Kirk Forrest was just an animal
