These poor parents have been victimized multiple times. The monetary victory is never going to repair the damage done to their child and lives.

I am so glad they won their lawsuit. They were treated terribly besides having their baby murdered by the OBGYN. She should be in jail. It wasn’t just malpractice. That doc went against all hospital practices and procedures. That’s criminal negligent behavior. Like driving a car drunk when you know you shouldn’t.

I was an RN 35yrs…17yrs in L&D. My first child was a shoulder dystocia birth… thankfully I wasn’t an RN then so I didn’t realize how serious that birth was. It was a horrible experience. As far as this delivery I’d like to see the nurses notes who attended this birth. If a Dr is not using protocol & going against standard procedures the only thing the nurse can do is inform management going up the chain of command. But that can be difficult while you are in the middle of a delivery. You can’t walk out. I’ve experienced a delivery like that … I had to have nursing management step in ….. It would be interesting to see how the rest of the staff handled this. It sounds like they all went along with the Dr and the deceitful deception. If so they all should lose their licenses.

Heartbreaking 💔 My son died this way - but did not get decapitated. It took to long to get him out because of shoulderdystocia. I had told them that he was way to big for vaginal birth.They agreed they made mistakes,but we only had a very small amount not covering my sick leave.
