Rough night last night for Hyeseong Kim for AAA OKC, who had 3Ks. He also drew 2 walks, but one of the BIG, possibly the BIGGEST reasons he's in AAA is to see if he can reduce his strikeout totals. So, while I rarely do these kinds of posts, I think it's super relevant in his case to highlight the "process" of him closing his holes and getting back to LA. Kim, so far, has a K% of 27.3, which is down 3 points from last year, so improvement, especially before last night, but gotta keep workin'. #dodgers #dodgersprospects

Buckle up friends. This is going to get VERY ugly. Jack Smith has managed to do what no prosecutor before him has. Trump is now trapped in a court proceeding with limited options to delay, and a judge who has already proved to him that ‘presidents are not kings’. The victim card will hold no sway and if he steps out of line on the conditions of bail, I am confident she WILL hold him to account, so he should tread very carefully. The indictment is a masterful submission which leave’s his defense with a significant challenge. It has legal booby traps around every corner. There is no question, Trump has his back against the wall and his lawyers will have to bring their A game. While the above is a massive win for the rule of law, it presents a clear and present danger that Trump and his surrogates will incite his supporters to intimidate court staff, DOJ staff and witnesses. They ARE prepared to burn down the house to protect him. It may well lead to violence on the streets and for Republican lawmakers to attempt to paralyze government and take the DOJ hostage. Mom here: Sam has been having a little trouble with his back legs. Nothing new, just more dramatic lately. His back legs gave out trying to go up a flight of stairs - which is new. So we sat on the floor together and shared blueberries. Calling the vet to get him in for his Ketamine and Librela shot which always seem to help. Growing old is part of life, we will care for him just as he cared for me for so many years. Video: Sam lying on a tile floor being fed blueberries.
