It only need a satellite connection, some machine guns and rpgs, and we are ready.

This is what it is designed for:

Yamaha Motor Company developed a self-balancing motorcycle using advanced sensors and control systems. In simple terms: - The bike uses gyroscopes and sensors to detect when it’s tipping. - A computer system instantly adjusts the steering to keep it upright. -It can even move the handlebars automatically to maintain balance at low speeds or when stopped. - Unlike normal bikes, it doesn’t rely on the rider for balance. Bottom line: It stays upright by constantly sensing imbalance and correcting it faster than a human can, similar to how a robot balances itself.

The kickstand is officially dead. This is pure Sci-Fi. 🏍️

Balance is optional now

We getting close huh 🤔

Where do you sit ? What happens to your legs when the center swings like that ?

Every bike is self-balancing. You only need to drive >25km/h. 🤷♂️

This is bad, I can't lower down the bike near to road surface so that I can pass through underneath a big truck...

Apparently it's a thing already: Yamaha MOTOBOT 2 vs. Valentino Rossi

Come on Yamaha, put the money into MotoGP V4 engine development and stop reinventing the wheel: motorcycles can't and shouldn't self-balance. Leave the pianos and build cars for that purpose.

....Do they not understand you need to be able to push the bike over to go through turns?

Three students in India made the country's first AI superbike called Garuda. This was made from scrap parts, runs on Raspberry Pi, has AI sensors, cameras, voice command and was built for just Rs 1.8 lakh (that's roughly $19,000). Crazy stuff.

So if I fall off that slippery plastic seat, it'll keep going for 7 miles. Great.

isn’t yamaha a piano making company ?? 😭

They should call it the Weeble

Why would a real rider want a bike with gyroscopes fighting operational leans?

Unpopular take: Self-balancing bikes are a gimmick. Real riders want control, not crutches.

@grok how a rider is gonna turn?

Now can we see a demo of this at 100mph or else I don’t care

You know what would be cool? A roll cage that prevents you from taking damage. When it comes to motorcycles i think safety should be over aesthetics.

@grok verify if this is true

Huh Is that a princess lover reference ? (they also make another bike that doesn't fall, and it can't tilt at all, but the first draft was to have legs in heels run on the side of the vehicle to stabilise it)

This is insane! Yamaha has been quietly one of the most ambitious companies in this space.

Handle bars extra?

I don't see him riding it

until battery dies and it falls over.

Yamaha Motoroid 2: The Future of Self-Driving Bikes. The latest version in the evolution of Yamaha's Active Mass Center Control System (AMCES) and the Advanced Motorcycle Stabilisation Assist System (AMSAS) drives without handlebars.

Now put 200# on one footpeg and do that

Where's the joy?

Cool tech, but I'm doubting how practical it is.

Cool, but what happens when you want to lean into a steep curve in the road.

This is super cool❤️🔥

Dosn' matter how drunk I am. The bike will not full down. Honest Officer.???
