The Yamuna cleaning process is indeed underway near Vasudev Ghat, and it's being hailed as a significant step towards reviving the river. The BJP claims that they're accomplishing what the AAP government, led by Arvind Kejriwal, couldn't in 12 years . Interestingly, there are allegations that Kejriwal's government tried to stop the Yamuna cleaning efforts initiated by Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena. It's reported that Kejriwal's government even approached the Supreme Court to halt the cleaning process . On the other hand, the BJP is highlighting their efforts to clean the Yamuna. Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva recently took a dip in the polluted Yamuna river to protest against the AAP government's alleged inaction .The BJP has also set up a stage at the Yamuna's Chhath Ghat, with two chairs for Kejriwal and his predecessor Atishi, to remind them of their promise to clean the river. It's worth noting that the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, VK Saxena, has been actively working towards the rejuvenation of the Yamuna river. A High-Level Committee, headed by Saxena, was constituted by the National Green Tribunal (NGT) in January 2023 to oversee the cleaning and rejuvenation of the river .

I don't understand this way of cleaning..you should stop the source of water contamination..ye sab kya drama hai..paani to fir ganda hoga sab sewage or other contaminants dobara aayenge.

What stopped the Parliament to override KG's govt and clean this? Are we going stop pan/gutka spitting, urinating, defecation s, sewage, industrial pollution, religious garbage throwing or we engage in perpetual cleaning going forward? We must treat rivers as rivers.
