YAZ birth control recalled after disaster mess up. How on earth does this happen

This is absolutely horrible for people who are sensitive to hormone balance/changes and use these for things other than birth-control. For some people, these products are used as a medication and not a contraceptive. Potentially very serious for other issues other than pregnancy.
