When I joined the army, I was one of those idiots that thought women could do whatever they wanted if they really put their minds to it. I was 120 pounds of pure willpower. No amount of training made me a man. Reality really hurt. Life is not a Marvel movie.

Yes!! I have ALWAYS said this. The last thing I would want if I were a military wife, would be to know that my husband is going to war with someone who would not have the physical ability to drag him from harms way if he were hurt. (Male or female actually)

I was army in the 80’s. Different standards for M/F, but females couldn’t go into combat roles. That seemed fair. If they want in combat roles they need to be just as fit.

Agree and law enforcement, fire department and EMS. We need physical standards for hard jobs over the years they have removed it and wonder why so many people get hurt.

Freakin love it! 😂 I couldn't agree more. I'm all for woman being badasses, if they meet the standard; but an individual who plans to do anyone harm and has physical advantages is not going to care about gender. They will use their advantages to achieve their goal.

They didn’t say woman can’t do it. Literally just said they have to meet the standard. They’ve been telling us for over a decade that there isn’t a difference which is why men are allowed to cosplay in women’s sports.

I met and exceeded the military fitness requirements when I was in the service!!! I actually prepared before I went to boot camp too!!!! Those who didn’t ~ did a lot of SNIVELING LOL 🤣🤣🤣

I agree. Same with firefighters and cops. The weight, skills or abilities of something doesn’t adjust to accommodate YOUR gender. All or nothing.

The other thing I don’t get: why the hell are women allowed to have long hair when the men don’t? If a woman is too big of a baby to get the military haircut…..

As a transsexual I wasn't happy completely about the decision to remove trans people but after thinking about it and understanding the medicalization and combat readiness as well as the damage that was done by the transgender ideology garbage. I'm okay with it. Part of me still doesn't like it but I understand it and agree that it is necessary. That's the best I can do with it and I say that because I own a lot of firearms and I do a lot of training and it's something that I feel that I am good at I'm physically fit for one thing.

I agree wholeheartedly. I was an industrial electrician with the IBEW. I strove to be able to do everything that the males could, even resisting help. They made fun of how I did things, but I did everything myself. The downside was I knew I wouldn’t be able to as I aged. So I went to college.

All combat standards across the board for everyone. If you’re a man, woman, or otherwise, and you pass - you’re in.

I think women should just stop having babies. And therefore they would be no military!

Women are different, so the fitness standards should be different. I was able to be a mechanic and meet the physical needs of my job and three deployments with the standards for women as they were ('96 - 2002). But I think women should NOT be in the infantry.

Soldiers should be fit and able to do the job. Women have had to meet the same requirements for combat positions so no change there. I don’t know a single feminist of my generation that argued there was no biological difference between men and women.
