Does what? Let you walk around on a cliff?

they are understandably cooking you for the vagueness of what you said😭😭

Brother I muted this shit once it hit 20k views 😅 I forgot video game twitter can’t figure out context clues and hates video games Also I swear I am unintentionally good at vague posting

@TheHiddenOneAC >muted but somehow got the notification of his reply to reply to Okay buddy.

@TheHiddenOneAC That’s actually how it works. His reply showed in my feed, then I clicked on it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@TheHiddenOneAC >muted but replied to me Okay buddy.

@TheHiddenOneAC Uhhh you do know you can click on posts you’ve muted right?

@TheHiddenOneAC >muted but then obsesses and seethes over it by coming back on purpose Okay buddy.

@TheHiddenOneAC Yes, I am obsessive and seething by coming back and replying to a handful of posts You got me 😳

Ehmmm…Zelda?

Not the same draw distance or detail

good point

Ghost of yotei has comparable draw distance detail tbh

That does what? Allow you to appreciate scenery? Literally every open world game ever does this...

RDR2, BOTW/TOTK, KCD, Assassins Creed Odyssey/Origins, Horizon, Ghost Recon, Just Cause, Arkham Knight

Those draw distances go crazy don't they? This is the first one I can remember that does this.

Yeah!!! Mind blowing tech

These are just old PS4 Screenshots (minus the Valhalla one from PS5) Some recent AC games have a looot of annoyances, but something Ubisoft nailed was the world. Lots of high places where you can see "forever". I remember even in AC Origins being amazed to be able to see Alexandria's lighthouse from miles away, and vice versa. Also of course, RDR2 even though some of the weather & lighting effects may affect clarity in the distance, both a mix of limitations at the time (again, PS4 Pro screenshots) but also art direction. No doubt that Crimson Desert scratches that same itch though with a 2026 shine. The team did an amazing job.

I hate that weird sparkly effect around Kliff, where things (and a weird green gas?) are emanating from his body. Before the recent big update, turning the "particle quality effects" slider to zero at least got rid of those weird sparkly effects, but now all these effects are on.

What is that btw?

@Chadllerina Once your gauge is full it should stop, when it's showing you that effect it's showing it's passively recharging the spirit gauge. It's leaves not green gas also referencing the other guys comment lol

@jayveeonYT I'm aware of the leaves (I can see them), but in addition to that, there's also, like, a green vapor-/gas-looking effect swirling around him too. 🤷♂️ Anyway, I'd love to be able to turn these effects off.

Every post on X about this game is a walk though some land while doing nothing. We get it, it's a pretty game. No one is ever showing off anything fun, just pretty.

....oh so is this your first video game?

who else thought he was gonna jump off

that does what? i am confused lmao, what is this video showing?

There are plenty of games that allow the player to walk.

that does what wtf

Does what? You’re not doing anything in the gameplay

ну то пограй більше ніж одну гру, я не знаю

I mean cool......but i wish they made quests different then making fish soup......like who fuckin cares about the draw distance when the side quests are that terrible. The love for this game is so forced.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey does this.

talking about draw distance and shit meanwhile im watching rocks and grass pop up around your feet

And you can't jump from there? Weak.

Homie’s video game is walking around in nature simulator and he creams his pants. Just play Skyrim chump

Not as pretty but AC odessey does it

Am I missing what the game does here? I feel like I’ve been clickbaited

Ironically the draw distance on the rocks closest to the character sucks. Grass popping in

Just cause was doing this 15 years ago

You obviously haven’t played many games then 🤦♂️

what am i supposed to be impressed by ?

Literally one of the best games I’ve ever played

Some of the comments on here really don’t understand the enormity of this in technical terms. Yes you can see into the distance in other games but it’s the clarity here, the details that remain and the fact you can literally jump into the air and fly across the landscape

Morrowind? Might and Magic 7? But hey, good for you seeing something for the first time.
