This is one of those tropes in media that can go a number of different ways and it doesn't matter which scenario you put it in, it's always going to be fun because parental bonding is a good way of building character and to show that there is more to the main character.
Found family. A troupe that can never go wrong when done right.
Series like Spy x Family or Final Space hell even Lord of the Rings & Star Wars are the best examples of a found family trope done right & I really hope that whatever this game does it achieves that.

It's a great game with good character writing and development. She acts like a child in curiosity and enthusiasm. legitimately, it makes me want to have a child as someone who was not interested in the slightest. Have fun! Anyone saying it's pedobait is telling about themselves.
