As a disabled person I firmly believe dogs should never ever be allowed in establishments that serve food. It should be special areas for ppl who have special needs like the blind etc because it’s so much ppl that get those dog vests and lie about needing support dogs.

I love my dog, but she does NOT need to be everywhere - I agree. It's not even good for the dogs, those types of spaces are over-stimulating and stressful for dogs.

This is why I hate Los Angeles. It’s so common to hear “where’s the doggy restroom?”

I used to work at an elementary school. The families in the neighborhood helped pay to revamp the playground. Nice right? Except that made them feel entitled to use the playground as a dog park. The playground where elementary school kids play. And not just after school.

And it's the most unclean group of people who want to take their got damn dogs to the restaurants, grocery stores & other establishments where food is. UGH! P.S. And I have 6 English Bulldogs - they shed like crazy - I would NEVER EVER take them anywhere other than a park!

I’m literally terrified of dogs. Got kicked off a southwest flight because somebody had TWO Great Danes and I had a panic attack. Pilot told me I had to get off because I was disruptive. Shit was embarrassing asf.

In my opinion, the only people who should be allowed to bring their dog into a restaurant are those who are blind and rely on a service animal for navigation. Otherwise, it's best to keep your mutt at home.

I am a big dog lover. I’ve had them all my life. I work at a bar/restaurant where dogs are allowed and I love to see them. That being said, I completely understand where she is coming from and I agree with her.

If you choose to sit outside in a dog friendly area then it’s on you. My dog is going wherever he’s welcomed. I would never bring him in a grocery store or inside a restaurant but outside is fair game if the place allows him.

The only pet that is allowed everywhere and should be allowed everywhere is a SERVICE Animal. Emotional Support Animal (ESA) is NOT a SERVICE Animal and restaurants need to stop allowing them. I should be petty and just bring my ESA cat whenever I see a dog at a restaurant

Absolutely correct. Keep your pets to yourself. Other's may not like them as much as you do. Animals do not belong in public spaces or public transportation. Especially places where they serve or sell food.
