One could argue that Purdy not playing at a high level (poorly timed turnovers), not the fact he was missing guys, is what causes the offense to stall. I'll die on the hill of Purdy being the reason the 49ers were even competitive in those games.

He for sure was the main reason they had a shot. The late INTs aside, CMCs fumble, Moody’s missed FG and Wilks blitz turned into TD before the half, doomed them against MIN. Without one or two of those plays they would’ve won. Against CIN def was totally gassed. It would’ve taken a perfect game from Purdy to win it.
