Amid the shooting at Florida State University that has left two people killed and six injured, David Hogg, who survived the Parkland, Florida, mass shooting in 2018 at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, says there are "a lot" of his former peers who are current FSU students — now experiencing a school shooting for the second time. "This is something that is not supposed to happen at all. We act like these are natural disasters in this country," Hogg tells Major Garrett.

The suspect in the Brown University shooting has been identified as 48-year-old former Brown University student Claudio Manuel Neves Valente. The president of Brown University, Christina Paxson, said that the suspect was enrolled at the school from 2000 to 2001 and he was pursuing a graduate program in physics. “It is safe to assume that this man, when he was a student, spent a lot of time in that building,” where the deadly mass shooting occurred, Paxson said.
