yeap honestly it might be better..

It 100% is better, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise

I’ve been told that there’s no dub for the short special episodes sadly but I’m gonna watch it full on dub once I finish the sub version

black lagoons dub is really well done especially compared to other dubs from back then

Black lagoon is one of the few great dubs out there, I rate it as high as Cowboy Bebop’s dub

Yes 🙌

Funny thing is that both of Revy's VAs also voiced Tabby from .Hack. At least in ROOTS since Stephanie Sheh filled in in GU.

Both her and revy almost look alike so I think it makes sense

She's also Susan Test from Johnny Test. It seems she hasn't done any voice roles for a few years now. Then again hardly anybody hires Canadian VAs these days, and not just anime dubs.

That’s a shame since the dub for revy is really really good It’s still pretty cool it’s recorded in a Canadian studio also from what I’ve seen in the credits haha

Ocean Group used to voice their fare share of anime for companies like Viz, Geneon, and Bandai Entertainment back then. Animes like Project ARMS, Ranma 1/2, Key the Metal Idol, Galaxy Angels, Kurozuka, Dragon Drive, Master Keaton, Silent Mobius, and The Vision of Escaflowne.

And also some western stuff like X-Men Evolution, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Fantastic 4 (2006), Baby Looney Tunes, and Oban Star Racers (Although that one is a French-Japanese production).

"WAKE UP SAILOR! WE HAVE A JOBB"

told you

The Canadians know how to make good dubs

lowkey true as fuck

You are in for the long run. If you are getting into black lagoon, I wish you luck my friend

im basically on the 13th episode now and yeah its getting crazy

the dubs cool ngl rubs me almost the right way unfortunately i ran out of pants

The dub is peak Also she right about rum

When I was going through this, I decided to watch it in English & Japanese (and German for THOSE episodes), where I’d swap to Japanese whenever Rock (and all the other Japanese people) were speaking cuz it kinda pissed me off that they basically did nothing to set them apart from

Dub Black Lagoon is one of the greats

BLACK LAGOON IS THE REASON I LIVE

It is. Genuinely, don't let others tell you otherwise, one of the best dubs lowkey

I generally don't have a preference with other anime but I think this one fits perfectly, not to mention how high quality the english dub is!
