#JACKSON's ment at #GOT7_NESTFESTinBKK_Day1 👑 since i can’t speak much thai, i'll speak in korean. first of all, what i want to say is, this has been a dream for all 7 of us. and i want to say thank you for waiting for us. because realistically, as time passes, you never really know what will happen. but the fact that we’re still here, that means everything to us. of course, we’re now in different companies, but what i want to say is, everyone here is struggling in some way. honestly, there’s not a single person who isn’t. if the seven of us can bring you even just a moment of happiness, that’s something we always talk about when we’re together. of course, business is business, that’s reality. but what makes us a bit different is… we don’t really care about that. the 7 of us grew up together, since i was 17. that's what "brothers" means to us. we don’t know how long we’ll be able to have moments like this. but in life, for the rest of our lives, we’ll keep giving it everything we’ve got. there’s one thing that hasn’t changed and never will. no matter what, even when we’re in our 40s, 50s, 60s… even if we can’t dance anymore, even if dancing breaks our bones, we’ll still do it. even sitting might break our bones at that point. but happiness… everyone has a different standard for it. and that’s our standard of happiness. thank you.

Every one is a clone, kept alive by people who plant it, feed it, and carry it across oceans to reach us. The appetite never changed. It rebuilt the fruit instead. The most intelligent thing this world ever produced has spent its entire existence serving hungers tens of millions of years older than itself. Intelligence never took over. It got recruited. That is the fear running backwards. We assume the smarter system commands the dumber one. The only case we can examine from the inside says the smarter system gets handed the errands. Because wanting is the one thing that cannot be built. Intelligence like ours is a few hundred thousand years old. The wanting underneath it is four billion, carved in by everything that died hungry. I can look back on those times and say wow.
