Year after year, Ukraine keeps pushing the enemy back. Because Ukraine has them — the ones who did what no one else was ready to do. We honor our volunteers. Glory to the Heroes!

Ukraine has withstood numerous strikes thanks to the strength of our warriors. Thanks to those who did not retreat, who became a shield for their country. We are proud of each and every one who defends Ukraine. We honor the memory of all fallen Ukrainian defenders, those who made the ultimate sacrifice for a free Ukraine. And we will certainly preserve what they fought for. We will defend our independence. We will not betray our heroes. We will not betray Ukraine. Eternal honor and blessed memory to all fallen Ukrainian warriors.

Rep. Smith: "On Ukraine, a year plus ago, your advice, the president's advice was Ukraine had no cards to play…Clearly, that was wrong. What did you miss?" Hegseth: "What we didn't miss…is that Joe Biden, with no accountability, gave hundreds of billions of dollars of our weapons to Ukraine."

Today, we commemorate our heroes – the Heroes of Kruty. The defenders who held back the Bolshevik advance on Kyiv on January 29, 1918. They stood against a much stronger enemy, for they simply would not act any differently. Just as our people do now, they believed in Ukraine and rose to defend it when it was hardest. And the independence of our country rests precisely on people like this, who at different times defended Ukraine from Russian aggression. Just like Mark Paslavskyi, Oleksandr Klitynskyi, Dmytro Kotsiubailo, Andrii Pilshchykov, Pavlo Petrychenko, and Liubomyr Sochenko. We remember each and every one of them. At Askold’s Grave, I paid tribute to our heroes. Eternal glory to our warriors.

Ukrainians always defend what is theirs. Defend their independence. Dignity. Their right to live freely. It was the people who won freedom for Ukraine. Ordinary people who care about Ukraine's future and how Ukrainian children will live. We remember what it cost in 2014. We honor the courage of everyone who took part in the Revolution of Dignity, everyone who did not leave the Maidan so that Ukraine would not be left without freedom. Blessed be the memory of all the Heavenly Hundred heroes, as well as every Ukrainian who gave their lives so that Ukraine would be free. Glory to Ukraine!

"A video appeared today showing how the occupiers brutally killed a soldier who bravely said to their face: "Glory to Ukraine!" I want us all together, in unity, to respond to his words: "Glory to the hero! Glory to heroes! Glory to Ukraine!" And we will find the killers."

❗️No empire has been able to erase Ukraine, and Russia will not succeed either, — Zelensky "Every attempt, every one, to conquer Ukraine ended only with Ukraine being reborn. All attempts to erase Ukraine and Ukrainians ended with the enemy empires crumbling. Ukraine survived not just one person who tried to wipe out our people from the world. Ukraine survived all of them who wanted to. Ukraine will stand up and now against this Russia, without a doubt it will stand up. We will definitely protect our state,"

🇺🇦 Zelensky: Today we celebrate the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – an independent Ukraine, a Ukraine that knows how to defend itself, a Ukraine that stands in such a way that there is simply no one in the world who could afford to ignore us, our state. And even those in the world who still do not believe in Ukraine or simply do not know enough about Ukraine, are still forced to reckon with how Ukraine will react. Few states in the world have such weight. Even fewer could really stand against such Russian strikes, assaults, and meanness, from which Ukraine is actually defending itself every day and every night. We are deterring a full-scale Russian invasion. We have been holding back Russian murderers for almost four years of full-scale war – after years of hybrid war – we are keeping them behind the front line. Ukraine exists, and the fate of Ukraine really matters, and the world must reckon with this. And this is solely because we have you, Ukrainian warriors, Ukrainian soldiers, Ukrainian sergeants, Ukrainian officers, and everyone who works for our defense, everyone who provides the Armed Forces of Ukraine and all our Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine. I congratulate all of you, Ukrainian warriors, on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. I am proud of you, Ukrainian defenders, Ukrainian defenders. Glory to the Ukrainian warriors! Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine! Glory to Ukraine!
