John toured NIO's factory in China. They built an upscale EV for under $10k and went from the first shovel in the ground to the first car off the line in just 17 months. He said China knew it would always be behind in ICE cars, so it pushed aggressively into EVs to leapfrog to the next technology and gain an advantage over the rest of the world. "Going to their factory and seeing, number one, how quickly that factory is built. And second, the factory automation -- much of the process was done via robotics. Looking at the auto plants we have in the US, we still have a plant that was originally built a 100 years ago, operating outside of Chicago. The average age of a US plant is roughly 40 years now. They've been upgraded over time but I don't think they replicate what's happening with robotics in China. This combination of being able to do things really quickly with a skilled but low-cost labor force and robotics has just allowed China to create a quality product at a price that nobody in the rest of the world's really been able to figure out yet."

Yesterday I was accused of being a Chinese propagandist for 2 posts warning of the dangers of Trump’s illiterate foreign policy gross negligence. It is absolutely critical that Americans wake up to the real threat presented by his presidential incompetence. It is no different to his incompetent handling of the COVID crisis, which caused an estimated 200,000 unnecessary deaths in the U.S. The reality is, Trump is the price the rich have had to pay to have a useful idiot in the White House. But in my view, it is a potential huge miscalculation. China will soon become the biggest economy in the world that’s inevitable. Their rise to power is a result of a self inflicted wound delivered by western powers who sought to inflate their bottom line by shipping manufacturing to China. They assumed China was simply a pool of cheap labor in a country that was happy to be exploited. BIG MISTAKE. China played dumb for decades, all the while educating their population, building infrastructure and embracing technology. They were regarded by the world as imitators and China was happy with that label, all the while learning from their perceived slave owners. They played the west and achieved this by exploiting their arrogance and complacency. By the time the U.S. was awake to the monster THEY had created, it was too late. China now has a highly educated population, world class infrastructure, a decade ahead of the U.S. They no longer need to imitate because they are now innovators. Their global dominance of the EV market has left the U.S. standing. They are possibly the only country in the world that could be self sufficient TODAY. It is not good fortune that China has a $1 trillion global trade surplus. They own almost a trillion dollars of U.S. debt. That’s before we talk about real estate holdings and the fact that a Chinese AI startup that wiped almost a trillion dollars off tech stock values. It is slowly selling off US debt and reinvesting in Africa and the Belt and Road initiative. They are a big picture economy 6 moves ahead in the game of geopolitical chess. I suspect they are close to making a move on Taiwan and if that happens, military experts are of the growing opinion there would be nothing the U.S. military could do to stop them. If that happens, they will inherit a 68% global market share of the semiconductor industry. What do you think that will do for their advancement of AI technology? China is playing Trump like a fiddle just waiting to use the BRICS alliance to replace the U.S. dollar as the global reserve currency to deliver the final killer blow. America needs to wake up to the threat Wun Dum Fuc represents to the U.S. way of life.

We had a Fortune 500 company test it out earlier this week and the executive staff stayed for two days of testing! The mechanisms are working! And likely the visual aspects will change, but they are growing on me. The plan is sometime in the next week. We have a log jam of other priorities to address. They’re working two and three jobs just to keep up. In the U.S., 40 percent of workers do not have $400 for an emergency. Now put AI on top of that—the insecurity that we are all experiencing, the fact that people are waking up and some new technology is landing in their jobs without training and without having a say. Of course they’re going to be anxious and feel insecure about what the future holds. And so I really think we need to stop and ask, “Who are we doing this for? What are the results we want? And how do we get there?” We get there by including workers in the process. They shouldn’t have to be at the end of the cycle. They should actually be upstream.

To CNN International and to all the endless media outlets, big and small, together with all the well-meaning content producers of Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok and every other platform that now shapes the global conversation, I would very much wish to pass the following post: As we speak, today’s protest has drawn roughly 2,000 participants. It is the lowest turnout so far, but even at its peak, participation never exceeded 8,000 people. So how is it that what much of the world has seen over the past days appears so enormous, so dramatic, so overwhelming? At some point, when the engineered digital hysteria of these days has passed and emotions have cooled, the democratic world should take a closer look at how the gap between reality and its representation became so vast. Not merely as a matter of this particular case, but as a symptom of something much larger. How could a tiny country become global news for reasons so disconnected from the reality on the ground? If you read "The Call of Cthulhu" carefully, and do some research, it's possible to work out the size of the creature encountered by the Emma's crew. The narrator says it's "Cthulhu" but we don't know this for sure. It might have "just" been a starspawn. I've done the math for you in the video below. Cutting to the chase, it turns out that Cthulhu is an exceedingly convenient size for tabletop roleplayers. He is, in fact, the same size with respect to humans that the average gamemaster is with respect to 28mm figures. You can scoop up your players' minis in your green flabby claw and say, "This is Cthulhu's size to you puny mortals. Roll for initiative." Cthulhu doesn't even need to regenerate to shrug off their tiny swords and arrows. A mighty wizard's lightning bolt is like a carpet spark. Spoke to a well known gears manufacturer who told me that apparently Höfler, the German CNC giant which manufactures machines for gear teeth grinding has their order books full for the next 24 months! Most of those orders are going to China. This tells us that although China has huge numbers in manufacturing, precision machines are still largely sourced from Europe or Japan. They might not have nailed it yet but going by their speed of development in various sectors, they will eventually get there. Point is, we need to go down this path of development and manufacturing too. It’s a long, hard path to follow but it’s one that must be done. We cannot have the mindset that importing machines is the norm. Some of us will inevitably have to choose to go down this long and difficult road. Some of us will have to pull up our sleeves, get our hands dirty and build for the future to truly be self-reliant.

We need IP law to be finally put into place so that our products and services are protected in their markets the way we protect theirs and ours. So, reciprocal playing field is where we need to go. This is a great first step but it's only the beginning. I want to sell to the Chinese people. I have no problem with them. I have a big problem with their government. They don't abide by the rules. We've known that for a long time and no admin has dealt with China, even after they came into the World Trade Organization in 2000. They've breached every covenant of that agreement so it's important for us to set the tone in terms of how we're going to go forward with China.

But what I would really want to discuss today, is if you really need to "green juiced detox" for wellness. No opinions here, no hearsay, just pure science of it. Green juicing is a detox practice. But none actually knows what is getting detoxed. An organ? An organ system? The body? No idea. The whole body is already getting detoxed by liver and kidneys and they do a wonderful job of it. Similar to "who watches the watchmen," line, should you "detox the detoxers?" For that, one must realize that detox is not a legit medical science word or practice. Detox is a wellness quackery term created to expand business oppurtunities. You have detox powders, detox tablets, detox capsules, detox practices (such as massages, oil pulling through nose, enemas, exposing anus to the Sun called 'sunning,' and so much more) and yes, detox juices. Detox is there is grab your hard earned money. A green juice or any type of detox for that matter does not help you prevent or treat any disease known to humans. The only thing getting detoxed with a detox is your bank account. The dubious practice of detox. Products that promise “detox” are a sham. Yes, all of them. Now the green juice thing. Be careful of what you put in there to blend, because your real detoxers - the liver and kidneys have to work extra to relieve you from the stress of it all. Green leafy veggies blended together is a dangerous thing. Many green veggies are rich in oxalates - like spinach, lettuce, celery and beetroot. Excess of oxalates can harm your kidneys if they get overwhelmed with the work-overload - like in this case where a woman developed kidney failure after green juice cleanse. Bummer! If you are going to do a Green juice to "detox" your body, know that you are wasting your time and resources and potentially exposing your real detoxing organs to toxic danger. 🧵1/ I’m back from a short trip on a social network with photographs and videos from Gaza, with some brief personal conclusions. First, it is quite clear that there are those in Gaza who know how to make extensive use of the networks and social media for the purposes of emotional extortion and also false propaganda, exactly like they live streamed the October 7 massacre and somehow turned it into “justified resistance”, they use quite a few Western buzzwords such as “genocide”, “occupation”, “oppression” and “Zionism”- and this is the simplest way to distinguish between Hamas propaganda posts and authentic people in Gaza, whom I’ve known all my life, who use much simpler words and not this indoctrinated manipulation bullshit. I was looking for THESE authentic people - the real voices. And I think I found a few. So first of all, what do I think there is NOT happening in Gaza? There is no genocide and no famine. Yes, there is quite a lot of suffering, shortages in some places and lack of decent shelter etc. And there’s a lot of cynical exploitation of it for propaganda purposes. I’m saying it because you can see children are getting payed for it, you can see the absolute control of distribution and you can see how basic needs and the way out is blocked with money- Israel is not taking money for any of it, the West is sending free aid, so the money is demanded by those who want to control the suffering and use it. You should know, that before the war - there was already quite a lot of very poor population in Gaza, but now the economic difficulty has greatly increased for two main reasons: one, the war damaged many sources of livelihood and the second - a major source of livelihood was working in Israel and this option was closed for a long time now, since October 7, and is now much less operational. So in fact the main source of income is donations and funding from Hamas for control purposes of course. This is how, among other things, Hamas uses the population to "work for them", and also to smile or cry for the cameras on demand. Now on the issue of claimed famine- famine is when there’s NO food and water, enough for the population. As I said, my personal conclusion is that there is no shortage of food and water in Gaza at all. The problem is that the food is not distributed equally, it is controlled by those who are powerful (usually Hamas operatives) and then sold at high costs to the population without them having sources of livelihood. Food that should be distributed for #free is actually sold at a high price, the shelter tents are also paid for and the exit from Gaza is particularly expensive (5000$ that are paid to the transporters). There are quite a few who refer to Gaza as a "prison" but Gaza is not a prison, Hamas has simply created a situation where it is very expensive to leave it - and thus the poor and the new poor are completely dependent on Hamas and other clans (Hamulas) in everything to do with food, shelter and exit, and they play with them as pawns. If Gaza is a prison - then it’s because Hamas are imprisoning it. All the suffering in Gaza started because of #Hamas it continues and increases because of #Hamas, but the main point is that #Hamas is also the one factor that can stop it. If Hamas surrendered unconditionally and released the Israeli hostages, as done in any war in which you are forced to admit defeat - they would truly liberate Palestine. Remember- this is a war that #Hamas started, a war that on Oct. 7 was celebrated in the streets of Gaza. But #Hamas prefers to keep the Palestinians captive so that it can showcase suffering (which they create) and use it as a tool for financial donations, manipulation of the West and a messianic jihadist war that will never end for them. The antisemitism that was festering under the surface for decades, has exploded. And for those of us who stand against it, we are not the popular kids. The so called “cool kids” are wearing a keffiyeh, calling for an intifada and demanding a Palestine between the river and the sea even if they can’t tell you which river or which sea. Keffiyeh Karens. That’s the mainstream now. Standing up against jihadism is now the counter-culture. Standing up for western democratic values against terror and extremism: that is now the counter-culture. Using facts and reason and knowing history: that is now the counter-culture. People! WE are the counterculture. And we are doing it. The Jewish people have found our voice because standing up for what we believe in, even when it’s not popular, is part of who we are. Our tiny people haven’t survived for millennia and outlived every empire that tried to destroy us by always being the cool kids. In fact, we almost never are. We know when it’s time to swim against the tide because we know this playbook. We have been here before. And our message to the world is as follows: the hatred that targets is targeting you too. I have a question for you, keffiyeh Karen from campus: where would you prefer to be a woman? in Iran? In Afghanistan? or in Israel? We cannot take the freedoms that we enjoy here in the US in Israel and in the west for granted, and right now even saying just that is swimming against the tide – it is being the counterculture. This is not a war of Israel’s choosing but we cannot avoid it either. They might call us the chosen people: in fact we are the people with no choice. But the entire western world needs to wake up to the fact that it has no choice either: that what is at stake is the survival, not just of the Jewish people, but of Western civilization, democracy and freedom itself. Those who deliberately spread lies about Xinjiang and its Muslim population are just shameless liars. They try to use Xinjiang’s majestic diversity to internally destabilise China and externally create a rift between the Muslim world and China. Now that I have spent more than 20 days in Xinjiang, I can say with complete confidence that the Western narrative about Xinjiang is just that: a lie. I believe China’s rise won’t be stopped by some insecure hegemonists who have been discredited domestically and internationally. The hegemonists’ delusion to brutally and rapaciously dominate the world is now on full display for the entire world to see, especially in Palestine, Ukraine and Taiwan. The hegemonists’ sense of insecurity about their place in the world is making them reveal their true nature, their predatory behaviour, their brazen hypocrisy, their extreme incompetence and their ugly immorality. Whether the hegemonists like it or not, the world is inevitably moving into a new order, simply because most of the world badly wants it.
