Soccer kicks make for a fun spectacle, but I think banning them is fair, there's really nothing you can do to defend a full force stomp or kick to the head once you've been knocked down.

For all the kids going, "knees would destroy wrestlers on the ground," you can knee grounded fighter ALL you want as long as it's not to the head/groin. Most modern fighters just don't do it. GSP won his belt back with brutal knees to a grounded Serra...

This would kill half of the stagnation that occurs when things go to the ground
