Ansarallah has carried out multiple attacks on Yemen's Saudi-backed PLC forces in Hadhramaut Governorate, and the city of Marib, using ballistic missiles, drones, and artillery. The Althaniya, Ruweiq, and Al Abr Bases were among the targets hit, which are home to the 1st and 3rd Emergency Brigades of the PLC. According to unconfirmed reports, up to 50 Yemeni fighters may have been killed. Yemen's Joint Operations Command acknowledged the deaths of 17 military personnel, including officers and soldiers. Houthi spokesman Yahya Saree stated that the attacks were pre-emptive due to large Saudi military accumulations. He claimed that hundreds of PLC fighters were killed and wounded, while a "large number" of storage facilities and military vehicles were destroyed. In the last hour, a second attack has taken place using ballistic missiles on the city of Marib. The PLC is the internationally recognised government of Yemen.

The YAF mentioned that they had observed these military deployments and this was likely executed as a preemptive strike to precede their final preparations. Saudi media reports indicate that at least 80 mercenaries have been transferred to hospitals in Marib and Seiyun. There are also reports that Saudi military officers/advisors were killed in the strikes.

Circulated videos shows the dismantling of a site that was intended to host the UAE’s annual Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival on the island. There are also reports that Emirati-linked business activities, particularly in the fisheries sector, as well as UAE-based travel agencies operating in Socotra, are closing down. These developments follow a decision by Yemen’s Saudi-backed, internationally recognized government to halt all direct maritime commercial shipping and airline traffic from the UAE to the island. To the best of my knowledge, there are currently no UAE military forces stationed on Socotra. The only foreign military presence on the island is a Saudi military task force operating alongside local forces. These local units have historically been aligned with the Southern Transitional Council المجلس الانتقالي الجنوبي العربي, but like other southern forces across South Yemen, they are now pledging loyalty to the Saudi-backed Yemeni government.
