Had to hit the portal to address immediate deficiencies. Can’t go to war with a bunch a freshman and expect to win now. It does in fact with building a legit program and winning later though. Assuming you recruit the right foundational pieces that are bought in for the long run

They are bringing in freshman they can play immediately. That’s how you recruit more freshman. It’s not like CU has a consistent history of being a top 10 program.
