🐐 South Africans don’t appreciate what they had. I remember how he used to get criticised for his run rate etc but he had to bat that coz he was the key wicket. Once we had ABD Amla and Smith u saw how he much more dominant he became coz he could trust the other batsmen.

Just churned runs, all the time... And a load of wickets. There was an inkling in his career that he didn't change gear when the team needed to score quickly, not sure how much that matters when you've scored that many though
