Tom Holland and Jon Bernthal compare Spider-Man: Brand New Day to The Odyssey. Q: “The Odyssey or Spider-Man: Brand New Day?” Tom Holland: “You want to pit the movies against each other?” Interviewer: “In a friendly way.” Interviewer: “Which production had the more intimidating first day on set?” Tom Holland & Jon Bernthal: “The Odyssey.” Interviewer: “Which production had the longer hours?” Tom Holland & Jon Bernthal: “The Odyssey.” Interviewer: “Which had the better accommodations?” Tom Holland: “Spider-Man.” Jon Bernthal: “Not even close.” Interviewer: “Which one had the more intense prosthetics or costumes?” Tom Holland: “I’m in full lycra, dude. Full lycra in Spider-Man.” Jon Bernthal: “The production design on Spider-Man was astounding. Benny’s costume… incredible.” Tom Holland: “Charlie Wood for Spider-Man… remarkable. But Ruth De Jong for The Odyssey… what she did is remarkable. It’s hard to choose a favorite.” Jon Bernthal: “They’re both… as good as it gets.” Tom Holland: “The best in the business.”

Tom Holland admits there’s still one word he struggles to pronounce. Interviewer: “You’ve mastered the American accent… but I heard on a podcast that you had some difficulties with the word ‘Spider-Man.’” Tom Holland: “Yes. Still to this day… if I don’t think about it… I want to say ‘Spider-Man.’ I don’t know why. That feels more comfortable to me.” “I have to really focus… and say ‘Spider-Man.’ The way I get around it… is imagining I’m saying it in fast forward.” Zendaya: “Just get it out. Don’t think about it too much.” Tom Holland: “The moment I relax… it becomes ‘Spider-Man.’”

🚨 BREAKING: Andrew Garfield watched Spider-Man: Brand New Day and called it trash, saying he still doesn’t understand why Tom Holland was chosen to play Spider-Man when he believes he’s the perfect man for the role. According to the reports, Andrew Garfield says Tom Holland was never built for the Spider-Man role and that Marvel should’ve called him back because, apparently, “nobody does it better.” He even went as far as calling Brand New Day Marvel’s first flop and claimed: “I’m the best Spider-Man. Everybody knows I’m better than Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire combined.”
