[APPEAL DISMISSED] The bail appeal of the accused, Lehlohonolo Chauke popularly known as Shebe Maburna, was argued on the 31 December 2025 in the Polokwane High Court and the appeal was postponed for judgement today. The Acting Judge Natalie Burnett dismissed the appeal. The accused will remain in custody. The case will be back in court on 18 February 2026 in Polokwane Magistrates court.
