@RYboating My church sings the oldies, First Baptist Church on Sun Valley, AZ. It’s been there for 50 years, and its congregation is mostly elderly. The Lord blessed me with a fine singing voice. It’s fun to use it. My parents raised my brothers and I in a Christian home. I know the songs.

OH, YES, PLEASE. The music had more depth and the lyrics were actually meaningful and did not have to be repeated over and over and over as so-called "Christian music" is today.

I would rock my babies to sleep singing this song to them every night .

Yes Lord please bring back our hymns that I was raised on and my first real vivid memory as a little girl of 6 years standing between two God loving parents in the church pew feeling nothing but amazing love for the Father. Thank you Lord for choosing parents who loved the Lord!
