This is a fascinating local initiative that I saw today in China, visiting another community center with Frieda Li and my wife in Urumqi. They've put in place a point system whereby you can earn points if you actively participate in the community, or do a good deed. For instance if you find a lost item and give it to the community's "lost and found", or give a suggestion to improve the community that gets accepted, you earn 5 points. As you can see on the video, you can then redeem these points for items they have in store: toys, food items, electronics, etc. To be clear, this is a local initiative of this specific community center which has absolutely nothing to do with the so-called "social credit score", which as a reminder is a myth and doesn't exist. We're in the Guyuanxiang Community Center (固原巷社区党群服务中心), in the Tianshan District (天山区) of Ürümqi.

The Liberals gun-grab scare tactic: Have the RCMP send an email to law-abiding Canadians, on behalf of Public Safety, trying to subtly scare Canadians into giving up their firearms. In the email, they misrepresent the truth... that the program is to keep Canadians safe due to rising crime. The reality is, the vast majority of firearms used in crime are from the US. In addition, other than Quebec, no province is interested in participating in the program nor do they have the resources to enforce it. And they also do not believe in the program, with one Premier who is a law-abiding firearm owner, even going so far as calling the program a "headache".
