I happen to know 2 people who were 19 and their girlfriends were 16. The parents of the girls had them arrested for statutory. They now have to register. I think predators are the worst sort, however, mistakes can be made. Just saying...

Why only under 12? What about the 13-18 year old kids who are raped? Rape of anyone should be a life sentence at a minimum... the rape of a child should be a "soon as possible" death sentence.
