@LBC If LBC hadn't sacked Maajid, could you imagine how much positive impact he'd be having right now to deescalate the violence. Those who listened and his former bosses all know this I'm sure.

@LBC When legitimate concerns are ignored. It breeds anger, resentment and eventually radicalization. A great analysis by Maajid. He was speaking about the issues facing us today 6 years ago. A shame LBC couldnt see the value voices like this have in the modern debate.

@LBC Is it safe to say then. That the Muslim side has been apparently, much more radicalized? The fact the PM has made no effort to include both sides, is astonishing. People are reacting to a problem. While sure some are radicalized. Most have just "had enough".

@LBC I wish our politicians would have this level headed argument. I have never forgiven @LBC for cancelling you, you were always ready to listen and re-evaluate things, just wish this and past governments were able to do the same.

@LBC Absolutely spot on Maj. The minimisation of legitimate grievances leads to radicalisation. The irony is that a lot of the same factors contribute to the radicalisation of both groups. (Poverty, racism, feeling disenfranchised)
