Tom Hanks on how he came up with the idea for "Cast Away" (2000): "I made 'Cast Away' (2000) because I wanted to examine the concept of four years of hopelessness, in which you have none of the requirements for living—food, water, shelter, fire and company. But it took us six years to put together the alliance that would actually examine that. I only had a third of it, and Bill Broyles only had a third of it, until Bob Zemeckis comes along and provided that other third. I had that original idea. I was reading an article about FedEx, and I realized that 747s filled with packages fly across the Pacific three times a day. And I just thought, "What happens if that goes down?" (Actor Roundtable, The Hollywood Reporter, 2017) P.S: Happy 70th birthday, Tom Hanks!

So in addition to the usual congratulations from friends and family, Brazil itself took joy in the announcement. “It was a big thing in Brazil, which makes me so excited,” #WagnerMoura told The Times. “I’m so happy that Brazilians are embracing culture and art as something that they’re proud of, particularly this film and [international feature winner] ‘I’m Still Here’ last year, which was also a political film that takes place during the dictatorship.”

Here's some real footage on the job showing exactly what we're talking about on a 787 nose gear. Watch how the downlock pin goes in the right spot, and check that plugged hole next to it from the AD.. Boeing had already flagged this and issued a Service Bulletin to install a plug/cover in the wrong hole. FAA made it mandatory with AD 2019-23-07. Newer jets like the Lufthansa one should have had that plug from the factory. Not sure exactly how the pin ended up in the wrong place or if it wasn't Installed/seated right during the gear cycle check...
