I’m just axing question here but why is this group, Tablighi Jamaat, banned or severely restricted in several countries: Russia, parts of Central Asia, Iran, and Saudi Arabia. Why do these countries believe that its puritanical teachings and loose structure serve as a gateway to extremism or radicalisation? In Russia, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan it’s designated as an extremist organisation. Weird right?
