This mass funeral was held for 112 members of the Al-Hasayna and Abu Sharia families in Gaza City, killed in an Israeli strike on 23 November 2023. That strike reportedly killed over 300 Palestinians. This is a chilling illustration of a pattern of Israeli attacks wiping out entire multi-generational families. It has taken so long for rescue teams to dig up the remains due to restrictions imposed by Israel on the entry of equipment required to remove the rubble of destroyed buildings, under which thousands of bodies remain trapped. Israeli authorities must urgently allow UN bodies and human rights investigators to access Gaza to preserve evidence, as ordered by the International Court of Justice.

Today, Amnesty International and seven other civil society organizations highlighted the failure of the Pakistani authorities to address enforced disappearance and continued injustice for victims. The government-formed Commission of Inquiry on Enforced Disappearances (COIED) has registered a total of 10,592 cases from 2010 to August 2025. However, not a single person or authority has been prosecuted in these cases. #WATCH | THDC tunnel accident site in Chamoli | Uttarakhand: Chamoli SP Surjeet Singh Pawar says, "...12 people rescued on the first day were admitted to District Hospital. All of them are under treatment but stable. 2 people, who suffered minor injuries, were discharged. 7 bodies were found on the same day, and 3 others were missing; body of one of these was recovered yesterday and bodies of the remaining 2 were recovered today, on 18th August. So, all workers have now been accounted for and no one else is now trapped inside the tunnel. All machines are being brought out and sludge and debris in the tunnel are being cleared...Bodies of 8 workers were already handed over to their families and bodies of migrants workers are being sent to their respective states with the help of State Govt and the concerned company. Panchayatnama and postmortem of the two bodies recovered today are underway, and bodies will be sent to their home states. Agencies are present there for safety audit and investigation into the reasons behind the incident. Central agencies are also there. Magisterial inquiry is also being done. CM and ministers are monitoring this continuously..."

#Turbat city of #DemocraticRepublicOfBalochistan 16 May 2025 Breaking News, #MassGraves being discovered We urge the global community, Human Rights champions and UN to immediately intervene and conduct DNA tests and give justice to Baloch victims of Pakistan state terrorism, #StopBalochGenocide In a shocking display of disregard for basic human dignity, the Pakistani military buried the Turbat martyrs in unmarked pits at Talimi Chowk graveyard under the cover of darkness. For the past three days, the families of the victims have been pleading with authorities to allow exhumation so they can identify and properly lay their loved ones to rest. Instead of offering assistance, DSP Sher Jan, backed by police forces, has actively obstructed the grieving families. Today, the families were kept waiting for over four hours, only to be met with continued refusal and silence. Salman Iftikar was sentenced to only 15 months in prison for threatening an air stewardess with gang rape and for racially aggravated harassment. He has multiple previous convictions. Yet Lucy Connolly got 31 months for a far less serious offence. This is two tier justice in action. I have today referred the case to the Attorney General Lord Hermer for review under the Unduly Lenient Sentence scheme We’ll now find out who’s side the Government is really on
