Yesterday, I decided to do something completely unexpected. For two and a half hours, I stood inside ShopRite and paid for every single person who came through the checkout line. Groceries, household essentials, food for families, whatever they had in their carts, I covered it. What started as a...

#TAEYONG WEVERSE LIVE 🌹: "And there is one thing I’ve realized, that now when I’m alone, I don’t want to talk about the members anymore. Because I felt this even when I was in the military. Of course, I did do it a lot, but I think I came to think that talking about someone else when they aren’t around isn’t polite, no matter how much they are team members". 🌹: "We’re close and like brothers, but still, if you hear what you want to hear directly from the people involved, it’s much more comfortable for me, and I think it would be more comfortable for you all and the person involved too. (I’m trying not to talk about even that member’s TMI anymore. Actually, I did talk about it during the last interview. There was talk about the members, but because the other members might feel uncomfortable. I said that I wouldn’t talk about it. 🌹: "I asked for your understanding. So I hope you all understand. They did that for me . I hope you all understand, too. I think I regretted those things. Talking about the members' TMI or things like that in the past. They might have wanted to talk about it too, you know". 🌹: "And rather than just finding it fun for me to talk about, the people involved need to have something to say when they come. If I tell them everything, what are they going to talk about when they turn on the live stream again? If I tell them everything, they probably won't turn on the live stream at all. They won't even talk". *Pat pat* 🌹: "You all understand, right? Thank you" * Taeyong, I respect your decision. I hope those people who always do that can understand and respect your decision as well.

my new song “BREAKDOWN.” is out on the 21st of June!!! 🖤🖤🖤 I wrote this poem because it’s been the hardest year for my mental health. In my life I’ve always never felt good enough, it’s just the thing that’s eaten me up. For as long as I can remember i have felt constantly afraid of how quickly my head can turn dark. It’s always been so hard to fight the darkness that i inevitably have. A lot of people will say it’s a phase and it will go away. But it doesn’t and the reality of the situation is I have to find strategies to deal with it. To put it plainly the things I don’t like about myself will probably never change, people tell me one day I’ll come-to terms with them one day but I want that day to be FUCKING NOW. This song is a message to myself to try and exist alongside my insecurities and my darkness by grounding myself and remembering what is real in life and the world is so much bigger than me. Try and get out of your head and notice the world around you, notice the things and people around you. Connect with them, the chances are they probably feel the same. Don’t let the bullshit inside your head consume you. It just wastes precious time. Remember what is real. Help people, be kind, help the world, help yourself. If you think you can’t do it, you can. You can get through this, trust me. Use this poem in a mornin to get u out of bed, use it when youre about to back out of something last minute, use it when you’re at your darkest. It’s got a little bit of light in it. Don’t forget to put your feet in the grass … Mind

When I am at the gym and I see somebody’s water bottle there or a towel or something. I know they just stepped away for a moment and that the machine is occupied. Out of respect I won’t move it out of the way only for them to come back and have to explain themselves anyways. This young lady on the machine left her water bottle on it because she stepped away for a moment to use the restroom only for somebody else to come by and try to use it in her place. Would you have understood the etiquette or is it just a free for all? When I first started working out I was unfamiliar with the gym etiquette. Some people just got done with a hard set and need to stand up and walk for a few moneys or get a drink of water and they use it as their rest period so that they can go back at it. Interrupting that process is the same thing as booting them off the machine mid workout. It’s rude and uncalled for but why does it keep happening? I think what it is, is that some people are very judgmental, they see others and think that they are more serious about working out than the other person so that to them it means they are entitled to use it first because their workouts are more important. I used to let them do that to me but no more. I treat it as first come first serve, if they don’t want to wait then maybe they need to avoid the gym during peak hours. This is the very reason I work out in the middle of the night most of the time. I rather not be bothered and if I need to take my time I can, most of the time nobody else is even there anyways when I go.

I was sitting at a bus stop waiting for Andrew when a car suddenly pulled up. And out stepped the man from the store yesterday, the same man who had refused to let me pay for my food. He came running toward me with his phone in his hand, my picture on the screen, saying, “This is you! This is you!” Somehow, he had found me on Instagram and then driven up and down the highway looking for me until he found me sitting there at a bus stop. He opened his car and started pulling things out for me: cookies, water, and 2,000 hryvnia for my soldiers. That 2,000 UAH was added directly to the balance for thermal drones. What do you even say to something like that? Yesterday, he told me about his family in #Canada. Today, this man went looking for me on the road to Poltava because he wanted to help my boys and help me. I sat there at that bus stop with a very different kind of tears running down my face. There are days on this journey when I am tired, sore, overwhelmed, and wondering how I am going to keep putting one foot in front of the other. And then someone appears. Someone gives me food. Someone brings water. Someone donates. Someone drives out of their way. Someone refuses to let me pay. Someone simply decides, “I can help.” And somehow, all of those little acts carry me a little farther. Not long after that incredible encounter, another car pulled up. Andrew from HUGS Helping Ukraine Grassroots Support 🍁🇨🇦🇺🇦 Andrew, thank you so much for going out of your way to purchase this for me, for refusing to let me pay for it, and simply for being the kind of volunteer your country needs. This journey may be mine to walk, but I am being carried along it by so many people. To the man who searched the highway for me, to Andrew, and to every person who has donated, shared, stopped, brought something, encouraged me, or helped my soldiers along the way: Thank you. I am ever grateful. Hugs. 💙💛 #Support93 #StandWithUkraine

Fast food was meant to be fast, cheap and convenient. But at what point is waiting 25 minutes for the food any thing but fast, cheap and convenient? This woman demanded freebies for waiting that long, would you think you were owed something if forced to wait that long for food at a McDonald’s? I was there to get a milkshake. They told me to pull forward because it would be a few minutes. 15 minutes later I am still sitting there and someone finally comes out and tells me that their ice cream/milkshake machine is down. Then he walks away. I was confused because I already paid, so I’m thinking are they getting me a refund or are they going to try to make something else? I wait for another 10 minutes and still nothing. I pull back around and told them I ordered a milkshake and I still haven’t received it. The drive through person then tells me that the machine is down. Like duh! I know that, but I already paid so where do we go from here? They said they can’t offer a refund because the manager who has the authority to do that isn’t there. They give me a number to call and they can fix it for me. I hated to do this but I then asked for a manager, I explain what happened and they just said call the number and they will fix it. I say well I’ve been here for a half an hour, I was forced to wait for nothing. She apologized and said there wasn’t anything else they could do to help me. This is the reason why I hate going to fast food places, a little acknowledgement would have gone a long way. Even a free drink or a fry is Pennie’s to them and would show they understand the inconvenience but nothing tells me they just don’t care.
