Damn!! That's so cool!!! A few months ago, I was talking to @ggsimm about wanting to do something similar, but with a backend that analyzes the audio track using Librosa (in python??), so we could generate parameters to control the 3D visuals. Never did it, lol

The tab-audio input is the part I'd keep front and centre. Being able to use whatever's already playing makes this much more inviting than a visualizer with one demo track. A few saved presets would be fun for switching the mood mid-song.

Audio Transcription with Google Gemini 1.5 Flash In this video, Gemini-Flash was able to transcribe 13 minutes of audio in 50-60 seconds. I have tested this with multiple audio files, and the transcription accuracy is close to 99%. If the audio is clear, you get 100% correct transcription. Even if the audio is really bad with a lot of noise, you still get around 95-96% accuracy. The code for this is available on GitHub. If you're interested, you can download and run it. You just need a Google API key.

quick tutorial (?) on blur with soft edges: if you select using lasso, selection pen etc and gaussian blur, the edges of the blur are sharp but if you use an airbrush to mark the areas on a new layer and use it as selection to blur, you can get a soft effect instead

I'm oddly proud and stoked about this one - live video preview w/ audio of the Robotron AI training on the web. You can watch it live here: I started simple yesterday, a canvas I updated with a snapshot of the game that I pumped over a socket from an emulator session. That evolved into a video tag with a properly encoded video stream, and today I spent a full damned day almost adding audio and keeping it in sync with the game (which runs at an uncorked and unpredictable framerate). Assuming my machine can handle the load, it's available for viewing pleasure now at the link above :-) You have to click on the preview to enable the audio, and you can turn it off/on at the bottom of the page. Thanks to dsobeski for beta-testing it!
