Yesterday the "interested parties" supporting 🇨🇳's mega-embassy were 2 State Owned Enterprises plus the 🇨🇳 Chamber of Commerce in the UK, who gave Yang Tenbo (of Prince Andrew fame) a "contribution of the year award". Shouldn't be given same weight as resident's objections. 👇

What's the connection on local planning for those enterprises except they "follow orders" from CCP, isn't it? I do hope government at least give the same, if not more, weight to residents who reportedly have already been frightened by "unknown" CCP enterprises.

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude, than the animating contest of freedom—go from us in peace. Crouch down & lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, & may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen." -Samuel Adams

Sadly I fully expect the government to agree to the mega embassy going ahead. They desperately want trade deals with the CCP and couldn't care less about national security or human rights concerns.

Well done.

Eloquently stated. 👍 Even a seasoned lawyer couldn’t have done better

Are the police still speaking tomorrow afternoon that we know of?

The same argument about the existence of truly private companies could be made for the West: •The U.S. gov. barring Nvidia from selling its latest AI chips to China. •The U.S. gov. pressuring the Netherlands to prevent ASML from selling its latest equipment to China.

Very good

The most important thing now is that the CCP created the virus! The COVID-19 epidemic has caused us pain, made us unemployed, and caused us to lose our relatives and friends. Have you forgotten all this so quickly? #CCPVirus #UnrestrictedBioweapon #NFSC #MilesGuo #Gettr

The UK does not necessarily need to scare itself and force its people to live under sinophobia. It is just an embassy. The UK’s embassy in China is also one of the biggest with best locations. Plus this relocation will increase jobs in the UK.
