Yesterday the "interested parties" supporting 🇨🇳's mega-embassy were 2 State Owned Enterprises plus the 🇨🇳 Chamber of Commerce in the UK, who gave Yang Tenbo (of Prince Andrew fame) a "contribution of the year award". Shouldn't be given same weight as resident's objections. 👇

What's the connection on local planning for those enterprises except they "follow orders" from CCP, isn't it? I do hope government at least give the same, if not more, weight to residents who reportedly have already been frightened by "unknown" CCP enterprises.

Sadly I fully expect the government to agree to the mega embassy going ahead. They desperately want trade deals with the CCP and couldn't care less about national security or human rights concerns.

The UK does not necessarily need to scare itself and force its people to live under sinophobia. It is just an embassy. The UK’s embassy in China is also one of the biggest with best locations. Plus this relocation will increase jobs in the UK.

Prince Harry met with veterans and volunteers at the Superhumans rehabilitation center in Lviv yesterday. He spoke to 10-year-old Roman Oleksiv, one of the youngest participants in the program, and British volunteer Eddie, who is undergoing recovery here. Prince Harry visited the operating room, where a difficult surgery was performed to restore a veteran's hearing. Prince Harry also received an Easter basket with paska, a traditional Ukrainian Easter cake. It was cooked using flour from the fields of Kherson that were cleared of mines. The paska was made by grandmas from Sumy region, and the pysanky - eggs - were given by the mom of Iryna Tsybukh, a paramedic who gave her life for Ukraine.
