Here are some questions: 1. We have seen NRM supporters and apologists on several occasions conducting parades and drills. At times, they go as far as using weapons and putting on military fatigues during those drills. When are they being picked up? 2. What amounts to an illegal parade? What's the difference between a parade conducted by scouts/guides, schools, churches (abasirikare ba Paapa) etc and one conducted by members of a legitimate political party dressed in their party uniform? 3. If an alleged offence was committed, why are the suspects not summoned or arrested in accordance with the law? Why are they waylaid, abducted, tortured and held incommunicado? Moreover, some of the people being picked up were never present at that gathering! 4. Between 2019 and 2021, before and after the last election, the regime abducted more than 4,000 NUP supporters.
