Yeah, it's a classic case of follow the incentive and you see the outcome. It's always been the play of altcoins, right? Mine's slightly better than Bitcoin, and Bitcoin fell because X, Y, Z. And lo and behold, as long as they can rejig that narrative a number of times, there'll be some people that just don't quite understand this yet, and they'll get burned.

Crypto is slowly dying. Nic is just a “I like Bitcoin, buy my shitcoin” VC who is fighting to maintain his wealth extraction tools.

To be fair he doesn't really promote specific alts. He just shits on Bitcoin for engagement and fundraising

This was excellent. Here are my unsolicited notes but first, you guys at Swan don't get nearly enough credit for how much you have educated people. The level of journalism and expertise has always been top notch. For whatever reason, legit Bitcoin companies take a ton of unnecessary heat. You have/had top people, Sam, Dante, Alex, and you helped launch Natalie. The 'Hard Money' show you put together was incredible. All this aside, my notes: - The look on your face matched exactly to my brain on a lot of the VC/Altcoin crap you educate people about. - You have always rejected the hostile label "Bitcoin Maximalism" 'coined' by Vitalik Buterin just like you (not super publicly but it is inferred) have rejected "Bitcoin Magazine" founded by that same Vitalik. Swan isn't pro-ETH, Bailey's BM is. Hard stop. - Models are broken (S2F etc.) - All the FUD, blah..blah..blah (I lost interest typing <insert-Cory-disappoinment face here>) - Cory goes on to destroy Nic Carter and in a later podcast explains it perfectly: "Junior Varsity Debate Team Antics." 😂 Me: Nic, David Bailey, Vitalik, Trump, Hoskinson, Winklevoss, add zero value under the guise of supporting Bitcoin as they always jump on the Bitcoin liferaft to try to prop up or safe all their sinking projects of ideas. Bitcoin is the Digital Foundation but there is a lot of money to be made via Bitcoin SPAM or chipping away at that Bitcoin Fortress Foundation via FUD missiles.

There's a little prep involved, but yeah that one was insanely easy to knock down

Aftr shitcoiners accused us of unfairly criticizing their altcoins after comparing there fundamentals 2 Bitcoin/rejecting them as a primary platform 4 scams, they called us Bitcoin maxis and we claim it w honor. I seen 4 myself during the ICO boom how much of a shit show it was.

To me, the claim has always been that Bitcoin is 1000x more impactful than the next crypto/blockchain use-case. Time continues to prove this true.

Another good one. I like these because it’s your take on a situation or a unique topic like an essay. Much of the podcasters are echo chambers, respectfully.

Most podcasters don't do real prep. Love or hate Natalie, she prepares for interviews. The only other journalist who reliably prepares before Bitcoin conversations (and is even better) is @MichelleMakori
