Alex Otti is a BIG criminal. He has been giving stipends of just ₦10m to ₦20m to local government councils, while the Federal Government is sending about ₦500m to ₦600m monthly to each of the 17 LGAs in Abia State. That is roughly ₦8.5bn coming in every month as LGA allocation. Benjamin Kalu made this shocking revelation today. Abians need to ask Alex Otti why he has hijacked local government allocations, reduced elected chairmen to puppets, and hands them stipends while the councils are left to decay.
