This is already at least the 16th attack on this refinery since the beginning of the full-scale war. Additionally, the Sloviansk Oil Refinery was targeted in the raid in Sloviansk-on-Kuban. Another of the largest refineries in Russia has shut down after a drone attack. The Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery (Rostov Region, with a capacity of 5 million tons per year) ceased operations due to equipment damage from a drone strike on December 25th. According to Reuters, both primary oil processing units were shut down - this is already the second refinery to completely shut down in December. The Novoshakhtinsk Refinery became the sixth facility attacked by drones this month. In November, Ukrainian drones struck at least 14 oil refineries - a new record.
